1. Select the cell where you want to see the message;
2. In Excel 2003, click on the Data menu and select Validation. In Excel 2007, from the Data tab select the Data Validation command from the Data Tools group;

5. Type a heading for your message in theTitle field. This text will appear in bold at the top of your message;

Now, anytime you move to that cell, the message will pop up. If you develop workbooks for other users this is great tool to use to help them know what to do.
